5am is closing in.
And I just cleaned my room thoroughly. Folded all my clothes and put them away, started a load of laundry, cleaned my shelves and organized them, put my Christmas presents away, and made my bed… Which I am now lying in.
I’m still wide awake. Going to make a to-do list for tomorrow and read The Book Thief until I fall asleep.
I just can’t seem to get sleepy!

I've been itching to write for a while now.
Small things building up inside of me. Big moments I wish to capture and paint with a pen. Little moments I wish to grab and stretch until they’re so far past nonfiction that it makes me uncomfortable.
My fingers are itching. But it’s just not time yet. One more day. I bet it’ll be one more day… and all of my thoughts will come crashing onto paper.
A whirlwind of emotions.
That is the contraption in which I am caught.
You openly admit the things you’d like more of from me.
Somehow, I find it attractive that you won’t censor anything.
With you there is no filter to sugar coat what is said.
Even though I like your honesty, it won’t lead me to your bed.
So instead, go ahead and say it.

I thoroughy enjoyed my first snow day today. :)
And tomorrow will consist of nothing at school considering exam exemption.
Bringing my laptop to school and watching Dexter all day. Spongebob coloring book is coming with me, too. Sounds like a plan.
Days like today
make me wish I had stayed in bed.
